Taking up your game, Shout success

One thing I think the British are bad at is counting and shouting about our acheivments. There is an odd issue around someone telling you have wonderful they are and how great their track record is that still sticks in the throat with some. I am not sure why. Even Charlie Mullins, the founder of the wonderfully successful "Pimlico Plummers" said it at the Entrepreneurs Forum conference in Gateshead yesterday. He pointed out if you drive a big limo car in the USA people look and say there goes a successful man, in London or Britain they are more likely to shout "Wa@~*r" or try to scratch it.
Well its time to climb the hill and shout a bit more about what we have done and inspire others to show what they can do. My thanks to the Entrepreneurs Forum for contributing to that yesterday and my wonderful team at Rivers Capital Partners for helping to make a difference to so many, including me. I'm proud of my two businesses and the teams I have work with. Great little businesses both in a great part of the world, the North East of England.
